Some of you were wondering where the hell we had been all this time?? Well in fact our account had disappeared!
don't know why, don't know how this happened but we are back on track...
Yeah well we have great news! one of our top french djs is going to be among us very soon, in fact on the 4th of december!
some of you know him for "Come with me" his famous sensual and slick song feat Lissette Alea, others for remixing George M, others for his album "Caracol" (snail in spanish), some others for being Laurent Garnier's kiddo and then again for his latest totaly awesome new releases on labels Cadenza and Rekids...ah was going to forget his fantastic Imprimé rec label!
its going to be Alexkid's first appearance in Buenos Aires and we are very proud to host him here. his remixs for Luciano's label are just a blast and as well as his very latests for Acumen or Spencer Parker. And yes! also, his newly collaboration with berlin minimal group M.A.N.D.Y has left us stuck to the ground, literaly stunt!

He is the Caracol opening up to us, the kid who hasn't lost his mama in the supermarket, the genuine godchild or should i say goldchild of the french touch and he surelly doesn't need to prove you right or wrong. take a hearing:

Last sunday in Club Niceto, Buenos Aires discovered the coolness of the Palmtree breeze effect: Tahiti Boy, the arquitect of the Palmtree Family, and his explosive drummer Jaune, delivered a great performance before returning to their recording session with Os Mutantes in São Paulo.

The local band that opened the show, named the Mentettes also did a highlty impressive gig during the warm-up, and they were called back on the stage by Tahiti himself for a "clapping grand final".

That night, we were all part of the Palmtree Family!

Inspired by SLY STONE, THE BEATLES, THE JACKSON 5 & THE SUPREMES, the family has released a full album called “All Good Children Go To Heaven” (Spring 2008 / THIRD SIDE RECORDS).

Yes We Did!

Saturday 4th of July, the Collage crew rocked a nice neighbourhood indie club from Palermo, called "El Especial"(Cordoba y Julian Alvarez). Yes indeed it was special, we felt at home that night. Thanks to all of you for joining and dancing all night long!

The Langley School Music Project: "Innocence and Despair"(Bar None Records)

Imagine a 60 voice chorus of rural school kids, untrained but captivated by melodic magic, singing tunes by the BEACH BOYS, PAUL MC CARTNEY, DAVID BOWIE, and others...

These 1976-1977 recordings captured in a western Canada school gym, weren't staged to achieve money or fame, to sell albums or land a record contract. These kids played music because they loved it.

Innocent, flawed and bittersweet, these recordings produced by HANS FENGER and IRWIN CHUSID deserve to be heard and preserved.

Collagene in the house

We are alive and kicking...Collage comes back with crazy parties!!!

Last week we proposed a new formula mixed with salty minimal and acid tekno to a newly born dance club of Buenos Aires: Mandarine (ex Mint club). The line up consisted of Collage residents with their fellow mates Peter Panik and Kat Kat Tat. A wildy off your head line up in which three hours went time passing by at the speed of light.We had rain outside but who cares as we could feel drops inside the club when people were dancing their heads off, sweating and kissing....
3am-4am: Tristan took control of the deck and threw some wild hits from Steve bug, La peña, Danton Eepron, Kiko, Shwarz. we were all eyes wide shut...
4am-5am: Peter seme la Panik a.k.a Peter Panik with a sexy up-bit set mixing SebastiAn, Odion, Blaze, Noze...
5am-6am: Kat Kat Tat versus Cosmikat: an interplanetary revuelta of minimal tek and electro between Thomas Fehlmann, Pujante, Alexkid and Cosmy's home made sounds coming directly out of the oven! Kat threw some galactical minimal which completly psycheed our heads. Her vinyl touch was a warm gun as for Cosmy she closed the ball with a wild live....

Once upon a time, there were a weekly and wicked radio show called “Collage à la Française”, far away in Argentina, on the air at KSK Radio (http://www.kskradio.com/):

The “Collage” was a musical laboratory, a blend of the French “avant-garde” musical scene, mixed with unknown gems, improbable remixes and spicy new tunes coming from the five continents.

A musical trip to France, with unexpected stops all over the world during two hours, breaking musical frontiers.
